About TingoTrip

TingoTrip exists because booking a journey in India is rarely one decision. It is a train that leaves before dawn, a bus for the stretch the train does not cover, a cab from the station, a room for two nights, and a mobile recharge you remember only when the signal drops on the highway. Each of those usually means a different app, a different password and a different place to look when something changes. We thought that was worth fixing.

So we built one place for the whole journey. Flights, trains, buses, cabs, hotels and curated holidays sit alongside mobile recharges, DTH, FASTag, electricity and the other bills that keep a trip moving. The same account holds all of it, the same wallet pays for all of it, and the same page shows you where everything stands.

What we believe

Travel software has a habit of shouting. Countdown timers, seats "selling fast", prices that change when you look away. We have taken the opposite view, and it shapes almost every screen we build.

• The price you see is the price you pay. Taxes, fees and supplier charges are shown before payment, not revealed at the last step.
• Cancellation terms are written in plain language on the page where you decide, not buried in a policy document.
• A fare is revalidated with the supplier before you are asked to pay, so a confirmed booking stays confirmed.
• Your documents belong to you. Tickets, vouchers and invoices stay in your account and can be downloaded whenever you need them.

Where we came from

Our roots are on the Konkan coast, and that is still where our holiday planning is strongest. We know which ghat roads slow down after a heavy monsoon night, which family kitchens in Malvan are worth the detour, and which beach is quiet on a Sunday in December. That local knowledge is why our curated holidays read like they were written by someone who has actually made the drive — because they were.

From there we grew outward. The same care we put into a five-day coastal route now goes into a Tuesday morning flight to Delhi or a bus to Pune, because a short journey deserves the same honesty as a long one.

How we are built

We are a small team, and we have kept the product deliberately narrow rather than adding features nobody asked for. What that buys you is speed and reliability: pages that load on a patchy connection, a site that works on a five-year-old phone, and a booking flow that does not break when you switch from mobile data to wifi halfway through.

Payments are handled through regulated gateways, and card details never touch our servers. Supplier credentials, payment secrets and traveller documents are never exposed to the browser. Your account can be protected with a one-time password or a password of your choosing, and you can review and sign out of every active session from Account & Security.

Support that answers

Most booking problems are not complicated; they are just urgent. A name spelled wrong, a date that needs moving, a refund that has not landed. Our support team works from the same booking record you see, so you never have to explain your trip from the beginning. You can reach us from the Help Centre, and every request carries a reference so nothing gets lost between replies.

What comes next

We are adding more routes, more stays and more everyday payments, and we are steadily improving the parts that matter quietly: faster search, clearer refund timelines, better offline behaviour when the network drops.
